Council of Legal Education: Registration Dates for 2020 ATP Exams
The Council for Legal Education has officially announced the dates for 2020 Advocates Training Program (ATP) Examination. In a public notice on one of the local newspapers, the Council indicated that the registration of the July 2020 ATP Examination will commence on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. In order to register for the examinations, candidates will be required to complete the registration form CLE-EX01 (for first sitting) or CLE-EX02 for resits. TSC: Role of teachers in containing coronavirus in Kenya
Following the confirmation of coronavirus cases in Kenya by the government, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has issued a directive to all teachers, regional directors, county directors and heads of institution on measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. In a press statement dated March 16, 2020, the commission directed regional directors and county directors to ensure that all subsequent government advisories are adhered to and implemented accordingly. The Ministry of Education has issued guidelines to be followed by schools to ensure students reach their home safely after the President ordered they be closed. The directive came as a measure to contain the spread of Coronavirus which has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). TSC cancels all Interviews for teachers
The Teacher Service Commission has cancelled all its scheduled interviews until further notice. This follows the government directive to stop all public gatherings as a measure to contain the deadly Covd-19.
