As schools remain closed over coronavirus, Muthiga Academy has started sharing its online classes via Facebook Live and it has turned out well.

On Thursday, March 20, 2020, the school streamed live a class eight English lesson for 13 minutes on its official Facebook pag (watch video) . The video went viral and the lesson attracted over 34,000 views in less 12 hours.

The lesson which was taught by the school’s Head Teacher who is the class eight teacher of English impressed viewers who appreciated her effort in the comment section. This is what some had to say;

Other viewers were of a different opinion;

I immediately dismissed and cancelled this video when she called herself ‘English teacher.’ My form two teacher of English always insisted that ‘English teacher’ means a teacher from England,” Julius Otieno.
