Applications for the Ministry of Education’s Digital Literacy Program (DLP) internships are now open. In Cohort 3, over 1000 vacancies are available for application.
Digital Literacy Program Internship
The DLP internship is offered by the Ministry of Education and is meant for recent graduates with a specialization in ICT-related courses.
The interns will be placed to different public primary schools and will perform tasks such as supporting schools with e-learning, assisting with the implementation of the digital learning program, helping schools with digital innovation, assisting teachers in integrating ICT in learning and assessment, maintaining ICT services in schools, etc.
DLP internship lasts for a period of 12 months and interns are paid a monthly stipend at a rate determined by the Ministry of Education.
Requirement of application for DLP internship
To be appointed as a DLP intern, you must meet the following qualifications;
You must have graduated no earlier than 2019
You must have a diploma or Bachelor’s degree in education. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in ICT can also apply.
You must have knowledge of application development and information security

To apply for the digital literacy program internship online, follow the procedure below;
- Visit the PSC job application website: http://www.psckjobs.go.ke
- Click on Internship Opportunities
- Select Digital Literacy Programme
- Register or login if you have an account with PSC
- Fill out the application forms with your details online
- Submit your application
You can keep track of the status of your application by logging in to the PSC portal.
If you are getting the error, “Sorry there are no internship vacancies” and it is not past the deadline for application, then try accessing the page later.
The deadline for application is September 25, 2023.
