University student murders his girlfriend over wrangles
Sharon, Egerton University student was yesterday stabbed to death by her boyfriend over love wrangles. The boyfriend was later stoned by angry students. By the time of receiving this information the boyfriend was severely bleeding and in a critical condition. We cannot however confirm whether he has passed on.
The young bright Sharon is gone. Her obituary book will read like. Sharon was born on this date. She lived a happy life. She excelled and joined Egerton university to pursue…. And the long obituary book will end with. May She Rest In Peace. You see, that is how short life is. You have no control over it. But there are some things you need to understand about love as a student to avoid causing unnecessarily pain and stress to your parents.
We are living in a generation which I feel does not know love. A society where people don’t want to be themselves. We have been taught that it is better to be someone than being yourself. You believe that your life could get better if you could date a man or woman that looks like what you see in soap operas or movies. You see, those are just characters. Movies and soap Operas were meant to entertain. Don’t fall into victim and think that these celebrities or characters you see on movies live a flawless life. Don’t take you lover’s life because your best character in that movie you watched yesterday taught you that murder is the solution to your problems.
Am not here to judge or to insinuate that am perfect, but the message am trying to pass across to young lovers is that we have to start living a life of who we are. I mean, how do you expect to live with someone for love happily if you lied about your life to win him or her?
We’ve to stop hiding who we are to experience love and joy. Live in a world of lies to win her/him and expect the worst in the future.
