CS Magoha on CBC Grade 3 Exams Schedule

Speaking to the media about Grade 2 national examination, CS for education Magoha said “Grade 3 learners aren’t sitting any exams. KNEC is only monitoring their progress in a term-long exercise that does’nt have a timetable, is conducted by class teachers, has no supervision, and learners won’t be ranked.”
The ministry of education is trying to ease the tension and make the public understand that Grade 3 exams are not as significant as KCSE and KCPE therefore less attention should be paid to them.
