University of Nairobi vice-chancellor has issued a statement about new students interested in transferring Courses within the institution.

University of Nairobi Transfer of Courses dates

Students placed by KUCCPS under a government sponsorship programme that would wish to do transfer of courses within the University of Nairobi can apply for transfer without using the KUCCPS portal.  

According to a statement issued by the University of Nairobi Vice-chancellor, Students who would wish to switch from one program to another within the University will be given a chance to do so from 27th September 2021 for 7 days up to 4th October 2021 so long as they have qualified and there is capacity.  

However, students that want to transfer from other Universities to the University of Nairobi or from the University of Nairobi to other Universities, should do it through the KUCCPS portal. Inter institution transfer at the KUCCPS portal will begin on 1st September 20201 and end on 31st September 2021. 

The University of Nairobi has also indicated that students who were admitted to UON through KUCCPS in the last 2 years and did not report can report with the rest of the new students on 20th September 2021. 

Online registration for first-years will start on 13th September 2021.
