What appears to be a brutal murder of Danson Mbundi a first year student at Chuka University has left many shocked as  killings escalate in the university.  It has been reported that Dan was murdered in cold blood on Friday June 10, 2016 as he went partying with his colleagues at club Kimwa.

Chuka University has experienced a number of student attack and killings. This year alone there have been over seven reported cases of students being attacked by unknown people from the community.

One student who has had his friend assaulted indicated that he reported the attack to Chuka Police station but no action was taken.

The students have threatened to take security into their own hands if the school administration and Chuka University Student Association (CUSA) are not going to act.
