By April 2014, Mount Kenya University was ranked as the top visited university website in Kenya followed by UON and then KU. As of July 19, 2014, Alexa statistics indicated that MKU had dropped from position one to three. On top of the most visited University websites in Kenya is University of Nairobi Followed by Kenyatta University.
