What started as an official statement that appeared on the local dailies in an advert by Kisii University has turned into a mockery of the institution.
In part of the statement, Kisii University indicates that all students should have their parents report with them in the university between 2nd and 4th November 2016. The statement has angered a number of students who claim that they are parents and pay school fees for themselves and therefore do not see the need of their parents coming to campus.
The official statement has now been converted into a ridicule of the university with some ladies vowing to ask their boyfriends to report as parents.
