How to write kdf application letter
An application letter is meant to introduce you to the employer who in this case is the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF). The cover letter should be;
- Not more than two pages long
- Use business or official letter writing format (have your address and employer’s address at the head)
- Content should be divided into three (Introduction, Body and conclusion)
Structure of KDF Cover Letter
The cover letter structure consists of:
Address: The first address should be the applicant’s and located on the top right. The second address should be that of the employer, located just below the applicant’s but on the left.
Salutation: This is who you are addressing the letter to and it should be (Dear Sir/Madam,)
Reference: This is the title of the job you are applying for
Content: This a summary of who you are, why you are applying and skills.
Closing: Marks the end of your letter. It normally ends with (Yours Sincerely, then your signature and then your name)
