How the new syllabus works

Under the new syllabus 2021, CPA will be sub-divided into 3 levels and there is an additional paper to be taken depending on the specialization a student chooses.

After completion of CPA, candidates will be required to attend workshops and will earn Initial Professional Development (IPD) hours.

Professional courses (CPA, CS, CIFA, CCP, CISSE,) have been aligned with the same level with University Degrees by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA).

Almost all professional KASNEB courses will now have practicals.

New Courses

KASNEB has also introduced new courses under CISSE some of which include vocational certificate in information and cyber security, Certificate in Block Chain Technology, Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, etc.

The first examinations under the new KASNEB syllabuses will undertaken in December 2021

We will be providing more updates about the new KASNEB syllabus.
