Kenya Water Institute (KEWI) has partnered with HELB to offer loans to students doing various courses offered by KEWI. The loan will cater for tuition fees for eligible new and continuing students.

Requirements of KEWI HELB Loan application

Students pursuing the following Artisan, certificate, and diploma courses in KEWI are eligible for HELB loan

• Water Engineering
• Waste, water and sanitation engineering
• Irrigation and Drainage engineering
• Water resources management
• Water laboratory
• Diploma in information and communication technology
• Artisan in Plumbing and pipefitting
• Artisan in Water operators
• Artisan in Basic Plumbing

How to apply for KEWI HELB Loan

The application process is as follows

• Visit helb student portal
• Register for an account if you do not have one (make sure you have used your valid phone number and email)
• Then login
• Click on the certificate link
• Select Water, Sanitation and irrigation loan
• Agree to terms and fill the application form
• Download and print two copies of the form
• Fill the printed form, sign, attach required documents and present it to the neareast Huduma centre HELB desk

The deadline for application is 1^st January 2022.
