Over 1 million KCPE 2022 students are today expected to be admitted to various secondary schools in Kenya. The admission process will last for one week as indicated in a circular published by the minis of education (Feb 6, 2023, to Feb 13, 2023).

School principals have been asked not to register students in NEMIS before they report physically so that the ministry of education can know which students have not reported

Secondary School Fees

Aware of the challenges that parents are going to face in raising school fees, Education Ministry CS has asked secondary school principals to take caution when listing admission requirements as part of the measures to reduce the cost of education.

228, 160 form ones will join extra county schools, 199, 027 county schools, and 762, 610  sub-county schools.
