According to her daughter Winnie Odinga who is believed to be the pioneer of the website, rao.co.ke will act as a platform of bringing together Raila Odinga’s followers.

The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga indicated through his twitter handle that the launch of his new website on Friday will give him a chance to share insight into his personal life to his fans. The announcement brought a burst in the social media with a trending hashtag on twitter #RAOZinduka

Although it has not been confirmed whether the opposition leader Raila Odinga will be in the presidential race in 2017, the launching of his website is an indication that he might be in the Ballot box come 2017.

Winnie odinga’s recent political activities and his closeness to his father Raila Odinga after the passing of her brother Fidel Odinga signals that she might be preparing herself to join politics.
