The list is not complete without Maranda,Kenyatta and Sawagongo High School bwana

I am so proud of Metkei Girls, #73.
I taught there as a Peace Corps volunteer from 1978 until 1982. Serving as “acting” headmaster the total number of students at one point for Form I and Form II was 4!! and I was the only teacher for a couple of months.
With the help of a substantial grant from the EEC and a new board of governors we were able to turn things around. When I left the school we had 150 boarders and were turning students away.
What an inspiring story for all that take educational opportunities for granted.
Congratulations to all of the students, staff and board members that came after me.
