Tracking a phone in Kenya with or without IMEI and expecting to find it is not easy and worth it because thieves have mastered the skill of changing IMEIs. Very few high-end phones can be found. In this case, you need to report to the police that your phone is lost, and go for tracking at the DCI offices. If the phone was not stolen by a smart thief, DCI can ask Safaricom to keep tacking any number that uses the phone and raise an alarm. This takes time If you are using a Samsung phone, make sure you create an account and as it will make the tracking process easy.
Once Huduma Number Cards start being issued in your county, go to the place where you registered and inquire whether yours is ready for collection. You also can call Huduma Namba via 0800221111 to confirm your collection point and date if you changed your phone number. NOTE: As at 10th March 2021, huduma number cards were only available for collection in Nairobi county.
To fuliza to another phone number, go to your Mpesa menu and send money to another Safaricom line. Fuliza funds will be used if you don't have sufficient funds in your Mpesa account.
To unblock your line, dial *456# using any Safaricom line, enter the mobile phone number your want to get PUK then select Get PUK and follow the prompts to retrieve it. You can also get PUK using the Safaricom portal https://safaricom.com/account/puk. The portal can only be accessed using Safaricom Mobile Data. Do not use WiFi.
