Comparison between Dennis Makori and Sylvanus Osoro

A lot friends have been asking who I support between Dennis Makori vs Sylvanus Osoro because they have found it hard to guess my political orientation due to my balanced view of the two. To be frank, I have not yet decided who to support for the South M seat come 2017 because another better candidate might emerge.

However, since Dennis Makori and Sylvanus Osoro have publicly declared their political interest to contest for the seat which is currently occupied by Hon Manson Oyongo Nyamweya I have been monitoring and analyzing their policies, and qualities. Find below a comparison of the two

Sylvanus Osoro

• If elections were held today, Sylvanus Osoro will emerge the winner as he has more influence than Dennis Makori
• Syvanus Osoro is an advocate by profession which gives  him an advantage on negotiation skills.
• Syvanus Osoro has proven that he is able to bring his natural enemies on board and achieve compromise which puts him at a better position.
• Slyanus Osoro is more in touch with locals compared to Dennis Makori

• Dennis Makori
• Dennis Makori  has not been doing good over the past weeks but his support base seems to be on a steady rise.
• Dennis Makori is an Engineer by career, he has helped his company grow and receive several awards which makes us believe that he is a great thinker. Something which we have lacked in all the leaders we have elected before in South Mugirango.
• Dennis Makori is also one leader with a good vision and it will be very easy for him to sell it to the voters come 2017. On other hand, Slyanus Osoro’s visions are not clearly defined which makes us worry that he will maintain the status quo.

I will keep on doing more analysis  and updates about the two leaders and other that might emerge as times moves.
