After an intense campaign that saw millions of money spent than any other student elections campaign in Kenya, SONU election results are here with us.

Babu owino has now been elected for the 3rd term as the chair of student organization  Nairobi University (SONU) 2015/2016. Babu is so far the longest serving SONU chair that will remain in the history of university of nairobi student politics.

Babu Owino’s competitor Geoffrey Mosira has however claimed that there were rigging of votes. This is what he had to say;

Geoffrey Mosiria: “Am warning the admn not to swear in anyone
including babu owino, massive rigging has been witnessed in several campuses and we will not allow comrades to becheated. We will demonstrate till fairness is witnessed.”
