SONU 2016 elections have come to an end and we have the winners and losers: Babu Owino, Erick Janganya retain seat.

 

University of Nairobi (UON) students have voted in Babu Owino as SONU chair for another term in what has been one of the most competitive SONU elections in history. Mike Jacobs who was viewed by many as a threat to Babu Owino could not manage to make a  win. Babu attained over 18 k votes beating Mike Jacobs by over 16k votes. Kariuki who came third could not attain 1k votes.

Geoffrey Mosiria who in the 2015 SONU elections competed with Babu Owino for sonu chair and lost managed to win the sports director position. Erick Janganya also retained his secretary general position.
