The death of University of Nairobi (UON) student Mercy Keino happened years ago but the cause has remained a mystery. There is no clear information as what exactly led to his death.

A new video of Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu addressing locals has emerged linking Kiambu governor Hon. William Kabogo to the murder of Mercy Keino. In the video published by the Star, Waititu says “…I’ll ask him to explain the circumstances of a young lady who died, a university student known as Mercy Keino. In a party that he hosted.”

Waititu continues to say “Can a man of good conduct have a relationship with a daughter of a peasant of a farmer who has struggled to educate her upto university level then waste her?

Waititu has threatened to move to court to sue Hon. Kabogo over the same and other misconducts that he has been involved in. This comes shortly after it was reported that Kabogo had sued Waititu for electoral misconduct (lack of the needed education requirement to hold office) to bar him from contesting the Kiambu governorship.
