The Samsung Galaxy A8 is one of the notable devices set to be launched during this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. CES 2018 runs from the 7th to 14th of January in Las Vegas.

The Galaxy A8 boasts of a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.
The display comes with Gorilla Glass protection.
OS and Processors
The Samsung Galaxy A8 runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat). It is powered by an Octa-core processor (2×2.2GHz Cortex-A73 & 6×1.6GHz Cortex-A53) based on the Exynos 7885 chipset.
Graphics are powered by a Mali-G71 GPU.
RAM and Storage
The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal storage.
Storage can be expanded externally via microSD of up to 256GB.
The Galaxy A8 has a 16MP, f/1.7 primary camera with autofocus, phase detection, and LED flash.
The front camera is a dual-lens shooter of 16MP + 8MP, f/1.9.
The cameras are capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps and 720p video at 30fps.
Network and Connectivity
The device supports GSM, HSPA and LTE network standards.
