KNEC KCSE 2017 Results checking sms code for (Safaricom, and Airtel) and online portal update: The Kenya National Examination council (KNEC) has indicated that candidates who has sat for their form four examinations in 2017 should expect the outcome on 20th December 2017. Find below a procedure on how get the results once they are released.
The Cabinet Secretary for education (CS) Fred Matiangi is expected to release the KCSE 2017 results this week (20th December 2017).
Ranking of top best schools and candidates in the KCSE 2017 exams will however not be considered.
Sources from Mtihani house have revealed to us that the official code for Checking or getting results via mobile sms will be 22252 (once the results have been released).
How to get kcse 2017 results via sms code
- Candidates can check there KCSE results via sms by sending their index number through sms to code 22252
- Candidates can also check their results in their respective secondary school latest a day after release.
NOTE: If you have sent sms using Safaricom and you have not received the results then try using Airtel with the same code.
How to Check KCSE 2017 results online
KCSE 2017 exam results can also be accessed through the KNEC portal later through www.knec-portal.ac.ke (results will be updated in this portal later after release, so it might not be of help for today)

Schools or Candidates who have had their exams cancelled due to alleged irregularities can appeal for remarking using the procedure provided in this page.
