All with one agenda of highlighting the challenges that the youths go through  in Kenya but here is one organization with a unique approach of eradicating poverty and empowering the youths. What is Hands of brotherhood?

Hands of brotherhood is a registered society in Kenya that seeks to bridge these gaps through helping hands of the corporates, individuals and entire society by encouraging members to volunteer their skills, mentoring the young generation in slum areas and donations, all aimed at empowering the society.

How can you benefit as a student?

Hands of brotherhood offer s internship opportunities to students and voluntary opportunities to professionals. In order to be considered for Hands of brotherhood internship apply through hands@handsofbrotherhood.org.

If you are into entrepreneurship and you need more training and business network, hands of brother hood is the place to be.  Through its Uzalendo programme Hands of brotherhood mentors young people to become business owners at their age. Mingled with business clubbing, young entrepreneurs unveil real entrepreneurship opportunities from their crude ideas. It is therefore a business hatchery.

Hands of Brotherhood have also been on the ground empowering persons with special needs to realize their social and economic potential. This is done through their programme Music of medad(love). They have been in Masai Mara University and they will be holding an exhibition for talents in people with special needs in Moi University main campus next month. This event will bring together students from former rift valley, western and Nyanza provinces. To participate in this activity or your institution to participate contact hands of brotherhood.
