19 people have been killed in an accident that occurred in Mbaruk area, Soysambu along Naivasha Nakuru High Way involving Christened Flashlink bus, operating in Githurai route.

Reports indicate that the Bus involved in the accident was a 52 sitter with number plate number KCG 992C.  The cause of the accident has not been established but it is said that that the bus was carrying excess passengers .
UPDATE: Area police Officer Zero Arome says that the Bus was trying to overtake another vehicle and collided with an oncoming Trailer.

The accident occurred in the Wake of Saturday 3: am and the 45 route, Nairobi based bus had been hired to ferry people to Busia.

The Injured have been taken to St. Mary’s mission hospital.
