Maseno University Re-opens with a fine of ksh. 3,000 for each student

A memo released Maseno University administatio read; Following the closure of Maseno University Main Campus on 13th October, 2015 and subsequent Senate meeting, the University wishes to announce to all students that the reopening dates for the Main Campus are as follows:
RE-OPENING DATES FOR ALL PROGRAMMES
9th November, 2015: (School of Medicine: Continuing MBChB First, Second and Third Year Students, BSc. Nursing, First and Second Year Students,  ALL other Schools: First and Fourth Year Students)
4th January, 2016: (New MBChB First Year Students)
16th November, 2015:  ALL other Schools: Second and Third Year Students)

 
SOMU ELECTIONS

Conclusion of SOMU election process by voting will be done on Wednesday 18th
November, 2015.


CONDITIONS FOR ACCEPTANCE BACK TO THE UNIVERSITY

All students of the Main Campus will be accepted back upon fulfillment of ALL the conditions as follows:
1. Payment of all outstanding fees owed to the University, evidence of clearance form signed by the Finance Department shall be required.
2. Payment of Ksh.3,000 fine for causing disturbance. Payment should be made to Kenya Commercial Bank, Luanda Branch, Account Number: 1108378056.
3. Signing an undertaking document to maintain law and order. Please download the document from the University website www.maseno.ac.ke, print and sign. It will be available on the website from Saturday 7th November 2015.

 
4. Signing of the Nominal Roll at the Academic Registrar’s Office, Wing B upon fulfillment of ALL the three conditions above.

 

The Supplementary Examinations
The Supplementary Examinations for 4th Year of Study 2014/2015 Academic Year
is scheduled for 13th, 14th and 15th November 2015.
Please confirm your results with respective Schools from Monday 9th November
2015 and check the time table which will be posted on the University website
www.maseno.ac.ke by Tuesday, 10th November 2015.
Note that, signing of Nominal Roll will be proof of your acceptance back
to the University and eligibility to attend lectures and sit for examinations.
Any student who will fail to sign the Nominal Roll will be considered to have
absconded.
