Maseno University New Opening Dates for first years (New students) and continuing students for academic year 2017/2018

The Maseno University Senate during its meeting on 21st August, 2017 changed the reporting dates for Siriba and Kisumu Campuses as follows:

• First Years (Freshers): 11th September, 2017
• Continuing Students: 16th September, 2017
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Freshers): 6th November, 2017
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing(Continuing Students): 9th September, 2017
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Freshers): 2nd December, 2017
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Year 1(continuing), Year 2, Year 3: 8th September, 2017
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Year 4-6 1: 5th January, 2018

ORIENTATION FOR NEW STUDENTS

All new students reporting on 11thSeptember, 2017 will go through an orientation exercise between11thSeptember and 15th September, 2017. Newly admitted students in the School of Nursing and School of Medicine reporting on 6th November and 2nd December, 2017 respectively will go through an orientation exercise whose detail will be provided on arrival.

REGISTRATION FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS

Online registration ongoing until 14thSeptember, 2017.To register, all paid up students should visit Maseno website www.maseno.ac.ke . COMMENCEMENT OF LECTURES

Lectures for Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Continuing Students) commence on 11th September, 2017. Lectures for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) commence on 4th December, 2017. Lectures for all other students commence on 18th September, 2017.
