Education cabinet secretary George Magoha has announced that schools should not allow success cards with political portraits to be sent to KCSE or KCPE candidates.
Magoha on success card with political portraits
While addressing the press in Kakamega, CS Magoha said, “We as a government have banned success cards with political portraits on them. I am going to request the county commissioner and the education staff here to ensure that when you see a politician sending our children success messages with their pictures, they should destroy them“
KCPE exams are expected to start on 7th March 2022 while KCSE will start on 28th February 2022. Being an election year, many politicians have been sending success cards to candidates to wish them success in the exams and also as a campaign strategy.
