An update on when KCSE 2021 results will be released by the Ministry of Education CS George Magoha and Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC). What 2021 candidates should expect.

KCSE 2021

KCSE 2021 examinations started on 25th March 2021 and came to an end on 21st April 2021. 

KCSE 2021 exams were supposed to start in October 2021 before they were postponed to March 2021.

When Will KCSE 2021 results be released?

A statement issued by the ministry of education CS George Magoha today confirms that KCSE 2021 results will be released on Monday 10th May 2021 at KNEC headquarters.

Marking of KCSE 2021 exams started on 21st April 2021 in Nairobi and is expected to be completed in less than 3 weeks.

KCSE 2021 Results checking

After the results have been released, candidates can check their results by sending their KCSE index number followed by the word KCSE to sms code 20076. For example, 143544657657 KCSE.

SMS for checking results costs Kenya shillings 25 on Safaricom and Airtel network. You can only know of the results after they have been released. Therefore, do not waste you credit sending message before results have been officially announced.

Online Results Checking for schools

Once results are out, Secondary School principals can download their school’s KCSE 2021 results online from KCSE Portal. The portal will not be effective during the first day of exams release due to high traffic and delay in posting. Therefore, the quickest option is to collect the results from sub county director of education office.
