Gazette notice from Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) on the review/change of Examination Dates for Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) Examinations from December to April.
Following the consultative meeting held by the Education stakeholders concerning the changes in the ECDE examination dates, we wish to inform all stakeholders as follows:
The examination period for ECDE proficiency, certificate and diploma has been moved from the month of December to April with effect from the year 2019.
The final teaching practice will be moved from the third term (September-November) of the school calendar to the first term (January-March).
The registration period for the ECDE examinations will be conducted in the month of August and September of each year, to enable the candidates to sit for their final examinations in the month of April of the following year.
Please bring this to the attention of all students, parents and stakeholders.
