Kenyatta University 44th Graduation Ceremony will be going down on Friday 3rd August 2018. Below is a statement from the university administration on initial dates and stages of preparation that graduands should take note of inorder to be included in the graduation list.

Official KU statement on 44th Graduation Ceremony

Kenyatta University wishes to inform all students in the Regular, Institutional Based and Digital School Programmes who will have completed their studies by the end of April 2018 that they can apply for the 44th graduation ceremony scheduled forFriday 3rd August 2018.. 

Point to note ahead of the 44th Graduation Ceremony

• Application is a must for those wishing to graduate.
• Only students without fees balances will be cleared for graduation.
• Application for graduation can be done online, through ‘Student Online Services’, on the university website; www.ku.ac.ke

 Graduation academic attire

All graduands will be required to be in full academic attire during the ceremony. The attire will be issued at the respective Schools from Monday, 23rd July to Wednesday, 1st August, 2018 during working days upon payment of the graduation fees.

Return of Graduation attire

All graduands are expected to return the academic attire by Friday, 17th August 2018, after which a fine of Ksh 500.00 per day will be levied for any attire returned after the deadline.

Graduation Rehersal

It is MANDATORY that all graduands who wish to participate in the ceremony attend the rehearsal at the Graduation Square on Thursday, 2nd August, 2018 at 9. 30 a.m. Graduands attending the rehearsal should be seated by 9.00 a.m.
