KCSE Results 2015: official KNEC release update, sms code and result slip download

KCSE results 2015 updates: The ministry of education led by education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i and in conjunction with Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) is expected to release 2015 KCSE results on date Thursday  3rd  March 2016.

The KCSE 2015 results will be released as usual at Mtihani house. Unlike 2013 KCSE results, in 2015 there will be no ranking of top 100 schools or top 100 KCSE candidates nationally as the formula was abolished by the ministry of education

To get KCSE results; Candidates are expected to send their index numbers through an sms code 22252 after the release of the exams. This is the fastest way of getting the results.

KSCE 2014 candidates can also get their official results by visiting the KNEC portal here although that will be sometimes later.

KSCE 2015 Result slips can also be downloaded from http://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/

UPDATE: KCSE 2015 release date is Thursday 3rd March 2016 (KNEC official date of announcement). Any mistake noted on the examination results and appeals for re-marking  should be communicated to KNEC within 30 days after release of the examination results (Check here for rules of remarking cancelled or Y results).
