KCSE 2021 marking of exams starts amidst examiners travel difficulties


Marking of KCSE 2021 examinations is expected to start this week after the completion of the exams as revealed by Education CS George Magoha.

KCSE 2021 Exams

KCSE 2021 examination started on 25th March 2021 and will come to an end on Wednesday, 21st April 2021 with last paper being computer studies practicals.

Examiners

Examiner who will be marking KCSE 2021 examinations started traveling on 19th Monday 2021. The examiners were issued with travel passes and asked to organize for transport from their sub counties in groups.

TSC CEO Nancy Macharia said that examiners who have not been vaccinated will also have a chance to be vaccinated at the marking centers.

KCSE 2021 marking dates

Marking of KCSE 2021 examinations will start on 21st April 2021 in Nairobi after the last KCSE paper has been done. It is expected to take less than 3 weeks. Therefore, by 20th May 2021 marking of exams would have been completed.

KCSE 2021 Exam irregulars

A statement issued by Education CS George shows that some students were involved in exam cheating. However, Magoha emphasized that no candidate will miss their exams or get a Y. All students will receive their examination but invigilators and security officers who facilitated the irregularities will be held responsible.
