ICT CS Eliud Owalo has launched the Jitume Program and Jitume Digital Labs which aim to enhance technological skills and online employment opportunities for the youth in Kenya.
The Jitume Program is a government initiative that seeks to train youths on how to use technology to create self-employment.
On the other hand, Jitume Kazi is a platform that publishes local and international online opportunities that Kenyan youths can take advantage of.
Jitume Digital Labs
Jitume Digital Labs are centers opened by ICT CS Eliud Owalo that provide youths access to digital services and free public WI-FI. The Digital Labs are also equipped with computers available for public use.
More than 20 Jitume Digital Labs have already been launched by the Ministry of ICT and Digital Economy, CS Eliud Owalo, in different counties.
How to register for Jitume Program
To register for Jitume program, follow the procedure below
- Visit Jitume Program Portal or app
- Register or Login if you have already created an account
- Click Training and select the tech course you want to apply then apply
- Click Jobs to view platforms offering online jobs that you can apply
