Candidates who had applied for 2022 IEBC polling clerks, presiding officer, and deputy presiding officer jobs will know if they have been shortlisted within two weeks’ time.
IEBC 2022 Jobs Shortlisting and Interviews
Interview and shortlisting of successful candidates for presiding officers, deputy presiding officers, polling clerks, counting clerks and other clerks is expected to be complete by June 27, 2022 (not May as earlier indicated).
The recruitment exercise will be led by IEBC director of human resource and administration.
Shortlisting of successful candidates will start with presiding and deputy presiding officers and then proceed to polling clerks or counting clerks, and other clerks.
Two weeks after recruitment, political parties and election stakeholders will be given a list of successful candidates so that they can raise any concerns.
Shortlisted Candidates List
A list of shortlisted candidates will be posted at IEBC constituency and ward offices (where the candidate applied). Successful candidates will also receive an SMS message. The list will also contain interview locations.
NOTE: Interview dates may vary from one constituency to another but it has to be by June 27, 2022.

Only 3 days to the said 27th May, the day “all shortlisting will have been concluded and candidates interviewed”. No candidate has received a SMS invitation.

I like the way you are scheduling your activities to make people prepare enough for the coming election. We are just praying for a transparent election and to reduce the problem of spoiled votes Incase we will be considered as educator clerk’s and many others.
