Who can apply for HELB Loan appeal? 

HELB Loan appeal is open for students or applicants that were awarded zero (0) loans and would LIKE to have HELB review their application.  

HELB Loan appeal is also open for students who would want to have their allocated loans increased  

If you are appealing to have your HELB Loan increased, make sure that you have provided sufficient information to prove why your loan should be increased.  

For instance  

You can provide documents to show that your parents are in critical medical condition 

You can provide documents to show that your parents have a disability 

You can provide documents to show that you are an orphan 

You can explain that you have been neglected by your parents  

These are just but a few examples of reasons that you may want to give to justify why your HELB loan allocation deserves to be increased. You can think of other justifiable reasons.  

How to apply for HELB Loan appeal 

HELB loan appeal is now completely done online. You are not required to fill in any forms manually.

NOTE: HELB Loan appeal button may not be displayed in your portal if you are a first-time applicant. Also, note that HELB Loan appeal application has a deadline. The appeal button will disappear after the deadline.
