The ministry of education launched a new curriculum with new approaches of teaching. In the launch, the Competence based curriculum (CBC) was unveiled which means new  lessons plans and schemes of work for Grade 1, 2, 3, pp1 and pp2 were introduced. Below is a little explanation about CBC and where to get the schemes per subject.

What is CBC?

CBS is an abbreviation of competence based curriculum. It is was introduced in the new syllabus in lower classes now Grades.

What you need for the competence based curriculum

For you to say that you have adhered to the new curriculum and learners are benefiting from it you have to have the following;

• CBC schemes and lessons
• CBC textbooks
• Curriculum Design
• Have had a training about CBC
