What is Beyond Zero Marathon?
Beyond Zero Marathon is an initiative that was started by the First Lady of Kenya, Margaret Kenyatta to raise money that would help in preventing maternal and children deaths in Kenya.
Interested Corporations and Persons pay some fee to participate in the Beyond Zero Marathon. The fee will then support in building and delivering mobile clinics.
Types of Beyond Zero Marathons in 2019
- Half Marathon (21 Km race): For Elite Category and Amateur Category
- Road Race (10 Km race): For Elite, Corporate, and Amateur Category
- Family Fun Run (5km race): For Amateur Category Only
- Pregnant Walk (2km walk): For Amateur Category Only
- Wheelchair Half Marathon (21km Wheelchair race): For Amateur Category Only
- Tricycle Half Marathon (21km Tricycle race): For Amateur Category Only
Categories of Beyond Zero Marathons in 2019
Below are Categories of beyond Zero Marathon.
Amateur Registration Category
- Registration Fees: Kshs. 2,000
- Awards: There are no price awards for this category
- Registration procedure: Can Be Done Online or Offline using the procedures provided below
- Race Types: Can run Either Half marathon, Road Race, Family Run, Pregnant walk, wheelchair half marathon or Tricycle Half Marathon
- Requirements: Anyone Can Register
Elite Registration Category
- Registration Fees: Kshs. 2,500
- Awards: There will be money price awards for this category for winners
- Registration procedure: Can Be Done Online or Offline using the procedures provided below
- Race Types: Can run either Half marathon or Road Race only
- Requirements: Anyone Can Register
Corporate Registration Category
- Registration Fees: Kshs. 150,000 per team
- Awards: A trophy will be awarded to the winning team
- Registration procedure: Can be done only be done Offline (Manual). No online registration for this category
- Race Types: Can Run only the Road Race (10 Km)
- Requirements: A maximum of 10 runners and a minimum of 5 runners per team of either gender and each team should have a leader as awards will be based on teams.
How to register for Beyond Zero Marathon 2019 Online
Below is a step by step guide on how register for the 2019 beyond zero marathon online;
- Go to: Beyond Zero Marathon Registration
- Select the Type of Marathon (Distance)
- Select Race Category
- Select T-shirt Size
- Select where you will pick your t-shirt (Beyond Zero Expo (KICC from 2nd March to 8th March) or IMG Kenya 2nd Floor, International House, Mama Ngina street).
- Then Click Pay Button
- Payment Page will load
- Select your suitable payment option (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Mpesa Paybill, Airtel Money e.t.c)
- We suggest you use Mpesa P
- If you have opted for Mpesa Paybill, Go to your Mpesa menu and Pay using the provided pay bill number and account number
- Enter your Mpesa Confirmation Code
- Click Complete
- You are done!
- You will receive a confirmation email and sms
- Pick your tshirts on either of the dates provides in step (5)
