  1. Maasai Mara National Reserve

It is the most popular national reserve in Kenya located on the escarpments of The Great Rift Valley.

It is one of the few game reserves in Africa harboring all the Africa’s Big Five ie: The lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos.

The game reserve is near River Mara which has crocodiles and other reptiles. There are usually animals crossing across both sides of the river. Wildebeests usually steal the show as they cross in large numbers.

The park covers more than 1500 Kilometers square.

  1. Elewana Sand River

It is located inside Maasai Mara National Reserve, just by the river banks. From there, wildlife can be viewed throughout the year (clearly at any time).

Accommodation is available within the camp with spacious food and a proper boarding environment.

  1. Keekorok lodge

It is more of a camp within Maasai Mara National reserve. It was constructed in the early 60s. It offers full board accommodation with comfortable boarding environment and food (both local and general).

The camp usually has tour guides who have experience and long-time knowledge of Maasai Mara; they help ensure that tourists have a really fun as well as educative time.

  1. Narok Museum

This museum which is in Narok town mainly showcases the culture of the Maasai people.
