JKUAT to host 10th East Africa University Games Beginning December 16, 2016

Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology will host the 10th East Africa University Games Beginning December 16, 2016. The role of sports cannot be downplayed in fostering social relations. Sports creates an avenue that not only fosters health but also responsibility and discipline among the athletes.

 
This year the theme of the games will be ‘Regional Sports for Health, Unity, Peace and Academic Excellence’. The games seek to promote interaction among students within the universities, encouraging professional and personal growth enhance regional integration process in East Africa through sports aiding in reinforcing economic, social and cultural integration.
