The Public Service Commission (PSC) has opened applications for vocational and technical trainers in degree, higher diploma, and diploma fields of study. There are over 2000 positions available for application and deployment to various Vocational and Technical Training institutions in Kenya.

Vocational and Technical Trainers Job Application Procedure

To apply to be a diploma, higher diploma, or degree trainer at the mentioned vocational and technical training institutions, submit your filled PSC 2 Revised 2016 application form, and your details (National ID, academic certificates, transcripts, etc) to the institution that you are interested in.

The deadline for application is March 19, 2024.

Roles and Salary

Your roles will include training learners in your area of study, preparing learning materials, setting and marking exams, supervising trainees’ projects, etc. In simple terms, you will be a teacher at the said institution.

Once you have physically visited the institution you are interested in joining as a trainer, you will be able to know the titles of the vacancies available. This must align with your field of study.

Based on previous advertisements, vocational and technical trainers are paid a salary of between Ksh. 38,270 – 49,950 pm and commuter allowance of 6000 per month and annual leave allowance of Ksh. 5000.
