Kenyatta University is ranked as one of the most developing universities in Kenya interms of infrastructure. From its amazing postmodern library to the stunning business innovation center. Thanks to the efforts of The University Vice Chancellor Professor Olive Mugenda. Kenyatta University is working on a plan of building  the 3rd largest stadium in Kenya.

The Kenyatta university stadium will be designed to have a 25,000 sitting capacity that is projected to expand to 30,000. Close to the stadium will also be build a 16,000 square meter recreation center that will provide first-rate fitness and wellness center for Kenyatta University (KU) students and the entire faculty.

The Kenyatta University stadium will host FIFA-sponsored matches and International athletics events and will make Kenyatta University become the first public university  in Kenya to offer sports related courses.

The Kenyatta University stadium was designed by DLR group. DLR is a China based architecture and engineering firm that was founded in 1966 and has designed several working stadiums for various institutions.
