The 2014 released list by KUCCPS of 2013 KCSE candidates- first years who have been admitted to Masinde , Muliro university of Science and Technology indicates that university has admitted over 3,200 first years. This is the highest number of first years that Masinde Muliro University has ever admitted in history. In 2013, MMUST admitted 1800 first years.
There are only 1600 available bed spaces set aside for first years. The biggest worry that is facing continuing students is whether the university has enough bed space to accommodate the combined MMUST remaining student population.
