Machakos Senator by election Winner prediction

Machakos County which is part of the eastern region commonly referred to as Ukambani is a political stronghold of the Wiper Party led by their Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka. Although Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua enjoys some substantial support in Machakos County, Wiper Party is the most dominant party in the area. It produced the highest number of MCAs in the 2017 general election.

A new threat to Wiper Party is the newly formed UDA party by former Machakos Senator Johnson Nduya Muthuma. UDA party is also backed by deputy president William Ruto and his allies which gives UDA Party candidate some financial muscles to battle with Wiper Party.

With all sceneries considered, Wiper Party candidate Agnes Kavindu Muthama is the candidate with the best chances of winning.
