Maasai Mara University indefinitely closed due to community vs students clashes

 
Maasai Mara University has been indefinitely closed due to chaos that emerged at a  football final match.  Its alleged that differences arose between a section of maasai mara university students and the maa community during the football match which head to chaos.

A memo released by Maasai Mara University  senate on 29th November 2015 read, “Following the current state of insecurity in the university caused by conflict among the students that took place 28th and 29th November 2015, the senate has decided that the university be closed indefinitely. All students are expected to vacate the university latest by 8:00 am on Monday 30th November 2015″

Maasai Mara University  Graduations dates remain as earlier stated. Re-opening dates will be communicated later.
