Laikipia University administration will  send  letters to all first years admitted to the university in the September 2015 intake. Kindly  visit http://kuccps.net/ to verify that you provided the right postal adress. If there is a wrong address given kindly call 0202671779/

WARNING

Do not make payment(s) due to any SMS request for any University services using any mobile cash transfer service.
In preparation for reporting on 1st September 2015, do the following things:

• Make many photocopies of KCSE result slips, KCSE certificates, school leaving  certificate, national ID/Birth certificate.
• Take at least three passport size photographs
• Pay fees and charges into either:

Prepare to  pay all fees and charges as per the fees structure below.
a) Tuition Ksh16, 000 per year (or Ksh 8, 000 per semester)
b) Other Fees and Charges (Payable at the beginning of each academic year):
Registration Ksh. 1,000 per year
Library Use Ksh. 2,000 per year
Activity fee Ksh. 1,000 per year
ICT fee Ksh.  2,500 Per year
Examination Ksh. 3,000 per year
Caution Money Ksh. 2,000 once
Students ID Ksh. 500 once
University Student Union subscription Ksh. 500 once
University Student Union renewal Ksh 300 per year
Medical fee Ksh. 2,000 per year
Material Development Ksh, 3,000 per year
Total Ksh. 33,800 per year
All the science programme  students will be required to pay laboratory fee of Ksh.2,500
Teaching Practice/field attachment/Practicum supervision Ksh 15,000 (To be paid in two installments in 1styear 7,500 and 2ndyear 7,500)Field Trips expenses (to be determined by the department)

4.Regulations governing the association conduct and Discipline of the students

All the University Hostels have been reserved for freshmen; however those who will not get spaces in our hostels; clear directions and the charges for alternative accommodation near the  University will be given at the Registration venue on the opening date.
You can check on the internet the geographical location of our University to give you good bearings as you plan to come.
Come with all your original documents and photocopies of your certificates and the
downloaded forms as indicated on the Letter of Offer. However store in a safe place (even save on the internet in your email) extra copies of your documents just in case you loose some while traveling.
