Key Requirements for the KRA graduate trainee program

  • Must be a Kenyan citizen
  • A degree holder in a relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum qualification of Second class honors. 
  • Must be aged not more than 27 years
  • Have no criminal record.

How to apply for the graduate trainee program

To apply, it is important to ensure that you have met all the requirements for qualification. If you are amongst the shortlisted applicants, you will be interviewed twice to gauge your qualification for the program. In the first phase of the interview, all the shortlisted candidates are orally interviewed and later given an aptitude test in the second phase of the interview. The interviews are often complex and demanding to ensure that only the best applicants qualify.

Training and deployment

The applicants that successfully passed the interview are later contacted by the company after a couple of months and are invited for a two years Training program at the Kenya Revenue Authority Training Institute (KRATI). If you successfully complete the training program and perform well in the coursework and fieldwork of the program, you will be initiated to the company as a full-time employee.

    1. Received a message that I was a qualified applicant. Was given a link to read more instructions which included paying some fee to secure medical attention at some stage of the interview process. Is this legit?

      1. No, its a scam. I don`t think a government organization will use m-pesa as a mode of payment.

    2. I received a text message informing me that i am a qualified applicant..It was also given a link to read more instructions and in it i a given direction to pay Medical fee.. I am wondering if it is legit
