What this means is that if you are a registered Kava Agent, you can open a shop where customers can withdraw money from Mpesa, Airtel , T-kash, Equity bank,  Co-operative bank e.t.c You don’t have to apply separately for each business. You just apply once for Agent Kava.

What is the Different between Mpesa Agent and Kava Agent

The difference is that Mpesa Agent can only open a shop that does mpesa transaction alone but when you become a kava agent you get to run all mobile money transfers (Mpesa, Airtel, Tkash and banks transfers (Equity Bank, co-operative).

Another benefits is that it automatically tops your float when you run out of it

Below is the registration procedure:

  • Visit: Kava africa
  • Then click on Products Tab
  • Select Kava agent
  • Click Apply
  • Register as a Kava Agent by filling the form
  • You will be contacted by Kava with further instructions on how to proceed

Who owns Kava?

Our research indicates that Kava is owned by Zeepo Limited.  Kava should however disclose clearly on their website whether it is a brand of Zeepo or Incorporated. This is something that you might be interested to confirm before you engage in any business with them.
