How to apply for KMTC admission online: Application procedure using student portal

Kenya Medical Training College (kmtc) launches an online application for admission website.

Students that would want to be admitted to Kenya medical training college (kmtc) for September or March intake can now apply online. Below is a quick procedure and requirements.

Requirements Before Applying

• Soft copy of your National Identification card (front and rear)/Birth Certificate/Passport
• Soft copy of your high school leaving certificate.
• Soft copy of your KCSE results slip/certificate
• Make sure you have at least KSH2100 in your MPESA A/C-(KSH.2022payable as the application fee to Mpesa paybill number 964150.)

KMTC student portal registration procedure

Below is a how to register at KMTC admission portal:

• Visit KMTC official website www.kmtc.ac.ke
• On the top menu, click on Admission Portal menu item, the last item on the left side
• You will be redirected l to the online registration portal or just Register for an account by clicking on the (Have no account? Register) below the login form.
• Enter your valid email and password
• Click on Create Account Button
• An email will be sent to your email address with a link to verify your account.
• Open your email and Click on the email link
• You will be redirected to KMTC portal.
• Fill in your personal information on the account creation form provided
• Click on the register button
• You will be provided with a form to confirm your data, Check information accuracy and Click save changes.

How to apply for courses online using the student portal

Here is how to apply for courses:

• On the left sidebar, click on the applications
• From the drop-down menu, click apply
• You will be directed to option 1, course selection
• Select Option 1, course level (Diploma or Certificate), and Click Search
• A form will appear on the page
• Select your desired course
• Fill in the form details as guided by the form labels
• Make sure that all fields are filled
• Click on submit application
• You will be redirected to Option 2 Form
• Select the course level (Diploma or Certificate)
• Click Search
• A form will appear on the page
• Select your desired option 2 course
• Fill in the form details as guided by the by the labels
• Make sure that all fields are filled
• Click on submit application
• You will be redirected to Upload KCSE certificate page.
• Select the KCSE certificate/ result slip soft-copy fil
• Click upload
• You will be redirected to Upload leaving certificate page
• Select the leaving certificate soft-copy file
• Click upload
• You will be redirected to Upload National ID/ Birth Certificate/ Passport page.
• Select the leaving National ID/ Birth Certificate/ Passport soft-copy file on the front side
• Select the leaving National ID/ Birth Certificate/ Passport soft-copy file on the back side
• Click upload
•    You will be redirected to confirm courses page
• Make sure the courses listed reflects your selected courses
• If you wish to change the course click on reject button
• You will be redirected to application page again
• Once satisfied click confirm and you will be redirected to make a payment of Ksh. 2,022 to MPESA paybill number 964150 (Confirm that the payment is paid to Kenya Medical Training College)
• Click on confirm button
• If you get a message with a message (“Please pay Ksh. 2022 to paybill number 964150 To Confirm the Courses”), Please wait for up to ten minutes and refresh the page.
• A confirmation SMS will be sent to your phone number.(Added as phone number 1 during entering of personal information)
• Click on My Applications from left menu to see your applied courses
