HELB has published a list of clearance certificates that it has revoked.  The pdf list contains over 50 students who were issued clearance certificates by HELB that have now been revoked.

HELB has not provided a reason as to why the certificates were revoked. We are informed that HELB clearance certificates can be revoked if the certificates were issued fraudulently or by error.

Clearance certificates are issued to HELB beneficiaries who have completed paying their loans or those who did not receive HELB loans. On the other hand, compliance certificates are issued to helb beneficiaries who are repaying their loans.
