Cheap Rentals Houses in Nairobi CBD: Bedsitter, One bedroom, Two bedroom-Thika road, Mombasa Road, Jogoo Road:

 

Many of our readers have been asking us questions like; where can i get a cheap house in Nairobi to rent? Where can i get a cheap bedsitter or one bedroom in Nairobi to rent? etc. Most of these questions go an answered because Kenyayote does not rent houses in Nairobi  nor do we have connections with tenants.

But today we have decided to this piece that will help you to locate cheap rental houses  for students or those who beginning a family.

First let get to know where exactly is the best place to rent a house in nairobi for easy accessibility to CBD.

There are 3 major roads that feed Nairobi CBD . Those are Jogoo road, Thika road and Mombasa road.

Houses to rent along Mombasa Road Nairobi

The main estates that feed Mombasa road are South b, South c, Imara Daima and Mlolongo. The costs of renting a bedsitter  in south b and c areas range from 10-15k. But you will hardly get a bedsitter in these areas. So i a advice you to go for  one bedroom which has its price ranging from 14k-22k.

On the other hand houses in Mlolongo are so cheap. Rent prices range from as low as 6k-17k for one bed room and bedsitter. South b and c areas are more secure and clean than Mlolongo.  Fare From CBD to South B or C ranges from ksh. 20-50 depending on time and kind of Bus. It will take you 10 mins driving from town to south areas without jam. On the other hand it costs ksh. 50-80 to travel from cbd to Mlolongo. Living along Mombasa road however  has one challenge which is   frequent jam. Do not be worried on how you will get a house for rent in the above mentioned residential areas. Houses to rent along Thika Road Nairobi

With the coming up of Garden City and a TRM thika road is now a hot cake. It feeds  the second largest population in Nairobi. Some of estates that you can rent a house along Thika road are Kahawa area, Githurai 44, Githurai 45, Zimmerman, Roysambu, Kasarani, and allsopps among others. Kasarani is the most secure and cleanest. There are several single rooms, bedsitters, one bedroom and two bedroom along these areas. One bedroom goes for 9k-17k, two bedroom goes for 15-25k.
